PixPDF – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PixPDF (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the PixPDF mobile application (“the App”).

By using PixPDF, you agree to this policy and the way we handle your data.

1. What data this app collects

PixPDF is designed to work locally on your device as much as possible. We do not collect, store, or share your documents, photos, or PDF files.

The app may:

• Access your camera when you use the document scanner feature.
• Read and write local files (PDFs and images) on your device to convert:
  • PDF → images
  • images → PDF

None of your documents are uploaded to any server automatically.

2. Permissions

To provide the app features, PixPDF requests these permissions:

• Camera – only when you open the scanner feature.
• Storage – to read and save PDFs and images on your phone (on‑device use only).

You can enable or disable these permissions at any time from your device’s system settings.

3. How we use your data

PixPDF uses permission‑related data only to:

• Take photos of documents through the scanner.
• Convert PDFs to images and images to PDFs.
• Save and load files locally on your device.

No personal data or document content is sent to any server or third‑party service unless you manually share it (for example, by sending a PDF from your app to email, cloud storage, or another app).

4. Data sharing and third parties

PixPDF does not:

• Collect analytics or tracking data.
• Use advertising networks.
• Share your files, photos, or personal information with any third party.

If you later share a PDF or image using another app (WhatsApp, Gmail, cloud storage, etc.), that sharing is controlled by those services, not by PixPDF.

5. Data retention

Because PixPDF works on‑device:

• No files are stored on our servers.
• Any PDFs or images you create stay on your device unless you delete them or share them yourself.

6. Children’s privacy

PixPDF is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

You are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
